Streamlined AWS Sign-In with Granted Extension
Granted is a Chrome extension designed to enhance the security and efficiency of accessing AWS services. This free tool automates the sign-in process for AWS IAM Identity Center, ensuring users can log in quickly while maintaining robust security measures. To use Granted, users must have the Granted CLI installed, which facilitates the core functionality of the extension.
The extension operates by comparing the sign-in code generated during the login process with the code from the Granted CLI. If the codes match, Granted automatically clicks the 'Confirm' button, streamlining the sign-in experience. Conversely, if there is a mismatch, the extension disables the 'Confirm' button, effectively protecting users from potential phishing attempts targeting their AWS credentials.
